A procedural Forest Generator tool for unity made in Houdini. Generates a game ready forest in a designated location which is costumisable with a bunch of parameters that control the density. The goal was to generate a believable forest, with a stylised final look. Includes a preview mode, to allow for good performance while using the tool in the unity editor.
The tree and rock models are procedurally generated, other models are made by hand. For the tree tool I used L-systems to handle the generation.
This was my first big project with Houdini and was very much a learning process.
